I’m planning on getting an iPad and some kind of drawing app this summer. What are you using, Steven?

      Hi Joe, there’s 3 I like –
Notability is great for taking notes and doing simple drawings. It’s easy to switch between typing and handwriting and works really well for making handouts or documents that combine text, photos and drawing/writing that can be exported as PDFs.
Paper 53 – is great for drawing with different types of pens & brushes plus the ability to mix/blend colours. You can’t add type directly (though you can upload to pic monkey and add it)
Brushes I haven’t used as much but it has some very good features, and it’s free. Maybe try it out and then decide if you want to upgrade to one of the other two (which are not free).
The iPad is great -I think you’ll love it when you get it! Steven
