Here we are on the first day of 2014. It felt good to put 2013 to bed last night and I am filled with positive feelings about 2014.
Thank you for being a part of The Thriving Creative in 2013. It’s been a pleasure to have you spend some time with me.
I’ve got some great stuff planned for 2014 and I look forward to sharing with you and helping you to grow and develop as a creative entrepreneur – while earning more money and enjoying your creative career more – my definition of what it is to be a truly THRIVING creative, not just a SURVIVING creative.
In 2014 I’m going to be embarking on a personal journey to support my work here. I’m happy to report I’m going to be starting my PhD in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship within the Institute of Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at Goldsmiths, University of London. I look forward to feeding my learning from the PhD back to you in order to be of greater service to you, my fellow creatives. And because life shouldn’t be all work and no play, I’m super excited to be going to South Africa in August for a combination of wine drinking and wild animal viewing. I hope to return refreshed, renewed and inspired.
As we set forth on a New Year, I hope there are many creative triumphs and wonderful moments ahead for you.
