Words, Words, Words, I’m So Sick of Words – The Eliza Doolittle Approach to Marketing

You may have noticed I’ve been using a lot more images lately.

Quiz time!

Why do you think I’m doing this? My reason is:

A) You’re busy. I know it. So you don’t have time to read through a 1000 word missive.

B) I’m busy. I don’t have time to write a lot of 1000 word missives.

c) There’s still loads of value in us meeting regularly, so why not catch up for a quick hello every now and again?

D) all the stats show that pictures hugely increase your likelihood of having materials shared on social media.

E) All of the above

Answer?

D is the main answer. Images hugely outperform text only on various social platforms.

But E is also correct. We’re all busy. And we’re all overwhelmed with information. So a little bite, in a visual format, is really accessible to people.

So I invite you to start thinking how you can get your message out relying less on words and more on images. What’s that cliche? Oh yeah, maybe a picture really IS worth a thousand words!

What do you think?

If you like this, please share it.

Thanks
